  • Separate Supply & Return allows for an air pattern to be established that "sweeps" the room clean. Eliminates "localized" or spot cleaning of conventional flush mounted air cleaners.
  • Non Electrostatic - Eliminates the noisy electrical arcing and ozone generation of outdated electrostatic air cleaners by using state-of-the-art HEPA filtration originally developed by the Atomic Energy Commission. ACTIVATED CHARCOAL is included to remove most odors, vapors, and gasses.
  • Our units operate quieter since supply & return grills are up to 12 ft. apart -- this eliminates the logarithmic building of air noise caused by supply and return grills being located too close together.

    APPLICATIONS
     These units remove heavy cigarette smoke and various odors in commercial applications such as lounges, break rooms, offices, restaurants, hospitals, computer rooms, pet shops, etc.

    Design & Construction
     The FM-20 & FM-30 are self-contained flush-mount ceiling air purifiers complete with motor, blower, and filters. Thse units are designed to operate above the ceiling with separate supply and return grills connected by 12 ft. of insulated flex hose. Filters are easily changed from the room velow the unit. Filters include a pleated prefilter, 95% DOP HEPA, and activated charcoal cell. Primary filters are spring loaded for air-tight seal. Prefilter is retained separate from primary filters, allowing for quick & easy replacement. Cabinetry is 20 gauge falvanized steel with painted decorative grills designed to fit in a 2' x 2' T-bar ceiling grid. The mechanical design of this product is protected under U.S. Patent No. 4955997.

    1. Pre-filter removes the visible particles while protecting and increasing life of the HEPA filter.
    2. HEPA filter is 95% efficient at 0.3 microns. Only including 95% ASHRAE filters, are rated using easier test standards. HEPAS are commonly used in clean rooms and hospitals.
    3. Activated charcoal removes odors and gasses that pass through all particulate filters as well as electrostatic collectors. Odors and fasses are a major component of cigarette smoke.
